We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Histotechnician to join our local clinic. As a Histotechnician, you will play a crucial role in processing and preparing tissue samples for pathological analysis, contributing to accurate diagnoses and patient care. The successful candidate will have strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality healthcare services.

Job Type: Full-time
Responsibilities:
- Process and prepare tissue specimens for microscopic examination by pathologists.
- Embed, cut, stain, and mount tissue sections onto slides for analysis.
- Perform quality control and ensure proper labeling and documentation of specimens.
- Operate and maintain histology equipment and instruments.
- Collaborate with pathologists and medical staff to ensure accurate and timely results.
- Adhere to laboratory safety protocols and infection control measures.
- Maintain accurate records of procedures, results, and quality control data.
Requirements:
- Associate's degree in Histotechnology or a related field.
- Certification as a Histotechnician (HT) by a recognized certifying agency is preferred.
- Previous experience in histology or a clinical laboratory setting is a plus.
- Strong technical skills and knowledge of histological techniques.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy.
